Our general conditions of sale
By contracting our services, you acknowledge having read and accepted these general conditions of sale:
Art 1 : Conclusion of contract and reservation:
The reservation becomes firm when the owner receives a deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay.
The deposit is non-refundable.
1. For a short stay (3 nights minimum) or a stay of 1 week or more: 30% of the total amount of the stay will be required at the time of reservation.
2. Late reservation: in the event of reservation less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the full payment will be required at the time of reservation.
The client signatory to this contract concluded for a fixed period may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of his stay.
Art 2. Payment of the balance:
The customer must pay the owner the balance of the payment 30 days before the start of the stay.
Payment will be made by bank transfer.
The customer who has not paid the balance on the agreed date, is considered to have canceled his stay. From then on, the service is again open for sale and no refund will be made.
Art 3. Payment of charges:
At the end of the stay, the customer must pay the owner the charges and optional services not included in the price. Their amount is established on the basis of calculation mentioned in the description sheet.
- The tenant and the owner of the cottage carry out a reading of the electricity meter at the beginning and end of their stay. It is on the basis of the consumption recorded by the two parties that the actual invoice will be established, less the electric package included in the contract (8 kw/h per day are included in the contract of a holiday rental whatever its capacity and the duration of the stay). As a guide, the Kw/h is at 24cts in 2024.
- The client will also pay a tourist tax of 1.05 € per adult and per night which will be payable at the end of the stay.
Art 4. Cancellation
Art 4 - 1 Cancellation by the customer: Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner.
• Cancellation more than 30 days before the start of the stay: 10% of the total amount of the stay will be withheld.
• Cancellation between the 30th and 21st day inclusive before the start of the stay: 25% of the total price of the stay will be withheld.
• Cancellation between the 20th and 8th day inclusive before the start of the stay: 50% of the total price of the stay will be withheld.
• cancellation between the 7th and 2nd day included before the start of the stay: 75% of the total price of the stay will be withheld.
• cancellation less than 2 days before the start of the stay: 90% of the total price of the stay will be withheld.
In case of non-presentation of the client, no refund will be made.
In the event of a shortened stay, the agreed price remains fully acquired by the owner.
Art 4 - 2 Cancellation by the seller: When before the start of the stay, the owner is obliged to cancel the stay, he must inform the client by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The customer will be reimbursed immediately and without penalty for the sums paid.
Art 5. Insurance:
1. Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
2. The customer is liable for all damages caused by him. It is required to be insured by a "resort" type insurance contract for the various risks/damages.

Art 6. Responsibilities:
The owner who offers services to customers is the sole interlocutor of this customer and answers to him for the performance of the obligations arising from these conditions of sale. The owner cannot be held responsible for fortuitous events, cases of force majeure or the act of any person unrelated to the organization and progress of the stay.
The Domaine du Petit Moulin is crossed by a river and has an open pond. The owner cannot be held responsible in the event of a fall in the water.
Children are under the responsibility and supervision of parents.
Use of the premises: The customer must respect the peaceful character of the premises and make use of them in accordance with their destination.
Animals: Animals are not allowed.
The cottages are non-smoking.
Art 7. Deposit:
When the customer arrives in the rental, a security deposit (or deposit) of €300 is requested by the owner. This deposit is intended to cover any damage & damage to furniture and objects and/or insufficient cleaning. After the contradictory establishment of the exit inventory, this deposit is returned, after deduction of the cost of restoring the premises if damage was noted.
In the event of early departure (prior to the hours mentioned on the description sheet) preventing the establishment of the inventory of fixtures on the day of the tenant's departure, the security deposit is returned by the owner within a period not exceeding two weeks.
Art 8. Capacity:
This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of vacationers exceeds the capacity, the owner may refuse additional customers. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered at the customer's initiative.
Art 9.: Arrival and Departure:
The client must arrive on the day specified in this contract and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
In the event of late or deferred arrival or last-minute impediment, the client must inform the owner whose address and telephone number appear on the contract.
It is best to arrive at the scheduled time. We need time to prepare the houses after each departure, to do maintenance, shopping, gardening etc...
Arrival is on Saturday (except for short stays) between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Departure is on Saturday (except for short stays) before 10am.
Art 10. State of play:
An inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by the customer and the owner or his representative on arrival and departure from the cottage. This inventory is the only reference in the event of a dispute concerning the inventory.
The cutomer is required to enjoy the rented property as a good father.
The state of cleanliness of the lodging on the arrival of the customer must be noted in the inventory. The cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the holidaymaker during the rental period and before his departure.
The amount of any cleaning costs is €60/cottage.
1. If you take the cleaning package, there is no cleaning to do, just start the dishwasher before leaving, clean the barbecue and sort the garbage/recycling.
2. If you prefer to clean, you have to leave the house as you found it, this means between 3 and 4 hours of cleaning
What cleaning should be done? : The crockery and kitchen utensils must be clean and tidy, small and large household appliances cleaned (coffee maker, hob, ovens, toaster, etc.), the shower perfectly cleaned, the sink, the Toilets perfectly cleaned, floors vacuumed and washed, bins emptied & barbecue cleaned.
In the event that the cleaning is not done satisfactorily, we will deduct 60€ from your deposit for the restoration of the cottage.
